Air Broadband and CityFibre took part in a webinar earlier this month as part of the East Suffolk Digital Business Festival 2022 to explain the benefits of full fibre connection for SMEs. The festival is designed to provide the opportunity for businesses to learn how to make the most of the digital landscape and discover the innovation and projects happening in their local area.

For 2022 the theme for the festival is ‘All things digital’ and ranges from digital business support programme launches, tech demos, business support and advice to information on local digital projects and a curated selection of workshops and webinars.

One of these webinars was presented by Air Broadband and CityFibre on why building a full fibre future will benefit Suffolk.

Presenting at the East Suffolk Digital Business Festival, our partners CityFibre gave an overview of the CityFibre network and how it is being rolled out in the Suffolk area in towns such as Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft.

Air Broadband discussed with attendees the role of an internet service provider and how they work with SMEs to ensure a quick and seamless transfer to a lightning-fast full fibre broadband service.

With modern business demands, it’s important to arm business owners with the knowledge they need to make an informed decision about their internet connection. After all, full fibre internet represents the future and no small business deserves to be left behind or stuck in the past.

We know that switching internet providers can be a real headache, especially for business owners. And we want to support small businesses to make the switch as easily and quickly as possible with our business broadband service which uses CityFibre open source infrastructure.

The digital business festival was organised by East Suffolk Council and ran from Monday 7 February, and is due to finish this week. However, all the webinars are available online to view on East Suffolk Council’s YouTube page.

You can also check out the webinar which features Paul North, Head of Regional Sales for CityFibre’s Wholesale Business and Gordon Sadler, our Sales and Marketing Manager: Why building a Full Fibre future is great for East Suffolk.
